The lawn speckled by shady oaks is perfectly suited for picnics or late-night stargazing, and the panoramic view can be enjoyed from a spacious wraparound veranda, which stands as the most complimented feature of this unique “B&B” experience.

Once inside the charming main house, you are transported back to the early 1900s when lumber tycoon, Albert Steves, built the house as his family’s summer home. From the ornate dining room to the high-ceilinged parlor, the house invites you to unwind in an atmosphere consistent with the original owner’s intent. Each of the fully renovated bedrooms blends the country elegance and lavish comfort which typifies this true Texas treasure.
