Things to Do
The stately main house sits on 23 acres of rolling meadow along the lovely
Guadalupe River. Peace and quiet await you deep in the heart of Texas Hill
Country. The Inn is a great place to relax in a rocker on our spacious
veranda, enjoy a swim in our inviting pool, fish, tube or simply relax by
the Guadalupe River, read a good book under our grape arbor, listen to the
soothing waterfall by our lily pond, picnic in our unique petrified gazebo,
or stroll among pecan trees by the peaceful river.
River walk, river tubing, fly fishing, and a swimming pool. The Guadalupe
River has catfish and bass for fishing. There are also many opportunities to
enjoy the many fine Hill Country golf courses, including Buckhorn Golf
Course, which is right across the street!

Enchanted Rock State Natural Area: This is a not-to-be-missed natural formation that everyone should see, if not climb and explore. Located in a 1643 acre park, it's the second largest granite outcrop in the United States. Located on RR 965 North, 18 miles from Fredericksburg.
